Harrington on hold 'em volume #2 is now released. Another must have.

Barry Greenstein's book will be shipping soon. Can't wait for this one.

Watching Harrington play i cant imagine the book says much more than wait for AA, AK and bet it hard...lol not that thats a bad strategy ive used it myself to hit the money in lot of low buy-in tournys....i will ck it out however .

One book that ive been reading of late that i would highly recommend to new players is Internet Texas Hold-em by Matthew Hilger. This book contains hand by hand strategies that can give you a head start that it would take ( believe me i know) hundreds if not thousands of poker nights to gain on your own..well written and detailed explanations of many situations that you will lose much more than the book price of 29.99 learning on your own.

I might add that i was less than impressed with Brunsons new book Systems 2...its a great book if you just want to learn the history of poker and what not but as far as his own chapters on playing the game i found them rambling and repeating of basic rules everyone should know before they ever lay a quarter on a table....however the history chapters were interesting and Mike Caro and Jennifer Harmons chapters were pretty good....Caros chapter is mostly about tells in a live game and Harmons is on limit poker....worth reading while sitting in barnes and noble ckin out the half dressed babes but id pass on buying it at the cover price...pick it up on ebay for 20 bucks if you really want to bring it home...
